Hello, my name is Mariana Pontes Marques, known as Marianinha.
I am 37 years old and I’m from Belo Horizonte.

I have great admiration for Lukas Kauffman, and I learned about EPIC RACE through him.

I knew he wouldn’t take part in just any race, especially because of his international level.
Racing the EPIC RACE was a unique experience.

Unlike most races here in Minas, the highest marathon in Brazil offers a huge diversity of terrains, with different levels of grip, along with the surprising attention from the organizers in also providing sections with more technical trails, rock gardens, gravel, and stretches with very steep gradients.

The temperature at the time, although it gave me chills before the start, allowed a large part of the LONG 96 km course to be ridden in pleasant weather.

The Campos do Jordão region, besides being one of the most beautiful in the country, has a more humid climate, which helps performance when the weather is not hot.

Among technical details, personal impressions, and unique memories of the different and wonderful landscapes, I can only say that this race is one of the most spectacular in the country. On top of that, you can bring the whole family, as the Horto Florestal offers incredible infrastructure for those not participating in the race, for children, and for any nature lover.
